If you've seen the first one and if you haven't I recommend watching it. Well, Micah is back. It got me a little confused but then I realized the movie is showing what took place before. This time it's Katie's sister. Her husband, her teenage daughter from another marriage and a baby are the victims.
The first incident that started was a break in where nothing was stolen. Then they installed a video surveillance system that allows them to see every room, along with the front door and the pool area. Every morning the husband would have to put the automatic pool cleaner back into the pool. He wondered why it did that. He checked out the surveillance video which enabled him to watch it. After reviewing the video, the husband still don't believe but then it's too late.
The original doesn't seem much different than the second. This worked the first time around and it works again, at first but it took so long for anything to happen. It will still get you jumping though just waiting for things to happen.
At the end when you start to fit in all the pieces of what happened in the first Paranornamal Activity then'll you'll get the satisfaction.
